CYA Players of the  Week

CYA Travel Team Player of the Week for Week #1:  Michelle Lee

Michelle plays on the high school girls travel tennis team for CYA.  She won both her singles match and teamed with Nolly Gibbs to win her doubles match to help clinch their opening day victory over Enterprise.  Michelle will be a rising freshman at Chantilly High School, and hopes to play on Chantilly's girls tennis team next Spring.


CYA Player of the Week for Week #2:   Derek Kegerreis

Derek plays on the high school boys travel team.  Derek played #1 singles vs. Net 2.  Derek was down 3-6, and came back to win the match 8-6.  The comeback win clinched the victory for the team as they won 2-1.  Derek will be a rising freshman at Chantilly High School this fall.  Although Derek enjoys tennis, lacrosse is his favorite sport.  He hope to play goalie for the Chantilly high school lacrosse team next Spring.


CYA Travel Tennis Player of the Week for Week #3:  Kurt Fedors

Kurt plays on the CYA 14's team.  Kurt won his third consecutive match of the season 8-0 to help the CYA 14's remain undefeated for the season.  He will be in the eighth grade this coming fall.


CYA Travel Tennis Player of the Week for Week #4:  Katrina Harrison

Katrina plays on the CYA HS Girls team.  Katrina won the only match for CYA teams this week with a victory at #1 singles.   She will be a junior at Chantilly High School this Fall.  She has been a member of the school tennis team for the past two years. 


CYA Travel Team Player of the Week for Week #5:  Robbie Culhane

CYA Travel Team of the Summer!!! CYA 14's

The CYA 14's team finished the season, 5-2, and qualified for the championship match.  The team lost in the final, but not before going down with a good fight!  Congratulations CYA 14's!!
